M118 Demolition Block
The M118 Demolition Block is one of the most versatile explosive charges available. It consists of four sheets of 0.5 pound (0.23 kg) PETN-based PRIMASHEET® 1000 (DETASHEET® Flexible Explosive) Flexible Sheet Explosive qualified to MIL-PRF-46676 and packaged in a compact, easy to transport and handle, shrinkwrapped plastic envelope. Twenty M118 charges are packaged with eighty M8 blasting cap holders in a wooden crate.
Construction
The M118 Demolition Block consists of four-0.5 pound (0.23 kg) sheets of PRIMASHEET® 1000 (DETASHEET® Flexible Explosive) Flexible Sheet Explosive. Each sheet measures 12” x 3” x 0.25” (30.5 cm x 7.6 cm x 0.64 cm) and has pressure-sensitive tape attached to one surface. The four sheets are packaged in a sealed, shrink-wrapped plastic envelope that measures 12” x 3” x 1” (30.5 cm x 7.6 cm x 2.54 cm).
